The Force Unleashed Exposed
Gametrailers.com has an awesome 20 minutes of new coverage on The Force Unleashed, including a visit to One Letterman Drive to talk with some of the lead game and toy developers. Sounds like we're going to have some major additions to Star Wars canon with this game, and we'll actually get to start out playing Vader himself. I was hoping they would have female player options in this, but it looks like it's set only to play a male role... a son of two Jedi! :O

I may have to break down and get a Wii just to play the extra duel levels.

Watch all 4 chapters of The Force Unleashed Exposed at Gametrailers.com here.

Gah! It finally dawned on me where I recognized Vader's padawan from. Sam Witwer also played as Crashdown in Battlestar Galactica's second season. Now I'm really in :D

And don't blink when the Soul Calibur IV commercial/teaser comes on. You'll get a glimpse of Vader mode in action (apparently Vader is for PS3 and Yoda will be playale for XBox 360).

Other cool webdocs and video are up at The Force Unleashed official site ;)

You really haven't been watching this unfold have you. I haven't seen the ones on gametrailers but when I do I'll get back and see if its anything new. Although I highly doubt it. Lucasarts has been pretty stingy.

Ignore zach, this was (mostly) new footage, and the duel bit looked pretty good fun - I love the fact that there are 27 playable characters!
God knows if or when I'll ever get to play this though... :(

Oh, if only I had time to be a gamer...

We would never get another joke again...

Ignore zach,

Yes ignore me. I now realize that was a little mean.

Now I remember where I saw this. TV last Friday night.

Wow, all of that was really awesome. And how interesting that there will be an explosion of books, comics, toys and other merchandise related to this game... and then with The Clone Wars! :O Thank Gawd I'm not a collector....

(and, ummm... is it just me, or does the animation for this game look better, to me at least, than the CW stuff...) ?:|

Still, very very exciting! Even tho I won't buy the game because I suck at stuff like that. :D

Yes zach, they did air this on Spike recently, and the bulk of the info is not hugely new, but at least we've got a little more insight into the different characters, a playable Vader starter level, and a few more views of the game play. Gotta love the new sneak peak at SC4 too.

Stooge, you can just read the game novelizations :p

Nob, I've only made enough time to play Star Wars games ;)

Pitt, the CG they use is different than the new CW, and yes, it's incredible and very real looking. Might be one of the sexiest games we've sen yet graphics-wise. :D

I guess i am going to have to buy a PS3 so i can play this .... maybe i can get a PC version of it? I'll look into it. I still have the original NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS2 (2 of them) and an Xbox console.

I have NONE of the next gen consoles. I wonder if they would make a FU game for the older consoles too? You would know ... so tell me deary!

I think you're all set with the PS2. Not sure about for PC and it's not mentioned at LucasArts anywhere that I can see (but that's not saying much). My guess is they will get it out for consoles, then maybe a little later it will see a PC release.
