The Gene Siskel Film Center at the Art Institute of Chicago will be presenting a Visionary Award for Innovation in Filmmaking to George Lucas with an award event on June 13 called "An Adventure with George Lucas" which will pay "tribute to his legendary career as the preeminent film artist of this century". George Lucas is trying to build a new digital studio space in Lucas valley. Here's to hoping it gets worked out so the community is happy with the site, and innovate on! (And get to work on the live-action show!)
