Motor City Comic-Con, Free Comic Book Day, CIV Update, Klingon Vs. Mugato and more...
I'm currently providing cover art for IDW Publishing's new series, Star Trek: Klingons: Blood Will Tell and Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Space Between. If you head over to my Myspace page you can catch *two* sneak previews of my cover art for issue #3 of the Klingon series (which ties into the classic Star Trek: The Original Series episode, "A Private Little War") and the cover for issue #6 of the TNG series. Just check out my blog there to view the artwork.

Star Trek: Klingons: Blood Will Tell #1 ships this April 26th as a 32-page comic book or a collector's special 40-page *Klingon language edition* accompanied by the original script in English to aid in translation.

Currently, I'm working on the cover art for issue #5 of the Klingon series and I'm providing covers for IDW's new "fourth season" Star Trek: The Original Series comic books.

This May 18th through the 20th I'll be appearing at the Motor City Comic-Con in Novi, Michigan with other Star Wars guests such as Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Expanded Universe Jedi models Doug Wangler (Quinlan Vos) and Justin Chung (Kai Justiss) also of World Famous Comics.com. I'm also creating Star Wars artwork for this special event's program cover and if you head over to the MCCC website you can catch a sneak preview of the pencil art right now.

I'll be drawing sketches, selling and signing my Star Wars, Star Trek, Spike, Angel and other comic book artwork at the show so if you plan on attending be sure to stop by my table and see what's in store or feel free to ask and have your program book autographed.

Also, this May 5th for Free Comic Book Day I'll be appearing at Comics 2 Cars in Florence, KY with comic book creator Beau Smith and costumed members of the 501st Legion. I'll post another update for both of these events as their dates draw near so keep your eyes peeled here and on my official website soon.

Star Wars.com has revealed a number of the artists attending Celebration IV in Los Angeles next month and has been previewing their limited editon artwork created specifically for the show. There is an incredible line-up of talent appearing in the Art Show featured in the main exhibit hall. Be sure to take a look at these amazing pieces being offered to the fans *only* at this event right here, here and here.

I will be attending CIV and participating in the Art Show (sketching, signing and selling artwork) as well as Celebration Europe this July and keep your eyes peeled on Star Wars.com soon for a look at my limited edition print artwork for Episode IV: A New Hope.

Also, Topps has just announced their new Star Wars 30th Anniversary Trading Card Series and I'm currently illustrating 56 new artist sketch cards for set. Stay tuned for news and a look at the artwork for this project soon.

Finally, I've added new desktop wallpaper to my Downloads section of my official site featuring my art for IDW's 24: Nightfall based on the hit Fox TV show. The artwork features all six covers of the comic book series which combine to form one larger poster image. Enjoy!

I'll be back with more news on my upcoming Star Wars projects and appearances really soon.

I'm debating as to whether or not I should go to the Motor City Comic Con. I'm afraid if I do, I'll be broke before I go to CIV.

Glad to hear it. I still have the Celebration III poster that I bought at your table during the 2006 Motor City Comic Con.
