So, I've finally bought a new system yesterday. My computer crashed AGAIN for the umpteenth time (hence losing a ton of Star Wars reference and emails/contact info) and I decided it was finally time to upgrade and join the 21st century. My 7 year old G3 system was on it's last legs anyhow. I'm working on a G5 now with Mac OS 10.4 and it smokes through the Photoshop filters faster than you can say "Uttini!".
Luckily I've been playing with OSX for over a year down at CCAD (where I teach the Comic Book Illustraton Course) so the transition has gone smoothly so far. I love iTunes, I'm totally addicted to it now. Can't wait to get an iPod with a cool SW skin (or maybe I can still win that Skittles RotS iPod) so I can go mp3 and m4a crazy. It'll be nice to have a new toy with plenty of listening material during that long flight to San Diego Comic Con later this summer.

One thing for certain, this blog is definitely much easier for me to work with now on my G5. I can actually see the entire page and all of the graphics and they don't take five minutes to render. I'm sure this makes Bonnie and the sw.com crew happier too
