
We're all familiar with how the name of Episode VI was originally going to be
Revenge of the Jedi. The change, at least as I first heard the story, came in part because
Star Trek II was originally going to be called
Vengeance of Khan -- and though that, too, was later changed, "Return" was much better because, of course, Jedi don't seek "revenge." And likewise, "Revenge" was an appropriate choice for the name of Episode III.
This has probably been noticed a few times by now, but the on-screen schedule for DirecTV Pay-Per-View has been listing all weekend a movie I don't think any of us have ever seen:
Star Wars 3: Return of the Sith.
It's still up there that way, at least as of this writing, Jan. 2 -- running every half-hour. Check it out and have a chuckle...
