My Knights of the Old Republic #4 came out this week from Dark Horse, and I have to say I'm thrilled with the issue. Obviously I'm not an impartial observer -- but what artist Brian Ching and colorist Michael Atiyeh delivered is pretty much bang-on what I had imagined.

The response to the storyline has been really gratifying, so far -- and I think you'll all be really interested in what we have coming up. If you've seen the solicitation for #7, you'll know that "Commencement" is followed by "Flashpoint," which brings our heroes into contact with the Mandalorians -- whether they want to be, or not!

In the meantime, a couple of personal appearance notes: For Free Comic Book Day, May 6, I'll be appearing from 1-3 p.m. at Galaxy Hobby in Plover, Wis., where I'll also do a presentation. And I've just been added to the guest list for Motor City Con, May 19-21 in Detroit (actually, Novi, Mich.). Star Wars artist Joe Corroney will be there -- hopefully we can get some kind of Star Wars panel together.
