Our
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series launches in January, and will be heavily promoted in the November-for-January edition of Diamond
Previews -- that's the catalog you can order the comics from at your local comics shop.
In advance, I'm squeezing in a few more public appearances to talk about the title and comics in general. If you're in the vicinity of Minneapolis or Memphis, take note of these events...
Minnesota FallCon. This is the big convention they have on the grounds of the Minnesota State Fair, in the Education Building. I will be there on
Saturday, Oct. 8 only but will be signing copies of
Empire #35 and giving a panel from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on KOTOR and other comics. Please drop by if you're at the con! The con's site is at
http://www.mncba.org
Memphis: Getting Started in Comics. This is a talk I'll be giving both for younger readers and people who want to get started in comics of all ages. This is in the suburbs:
Germantown Community Library, Germantown, Tennessee -- Wednesday, Oct. 12; presentation begins 6:30 p.m.
While that event is not so much about
Star Wars and KOTOR specifically, there's one the next night that is. I'll be the keynote speaker at the
Mid-South Science Fiction and Fantasy Association meeting which is being held
Thursday, October 13 at the Main Library, Memphis, Tenneseee. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.; my presentation begins 7:00 P.M. The library is at 3030 Poplar Ave; once there, go in the main doors, and turn left in the atrium area. If you go though the next set of doors into the actual library, you've gone too far. Library site is at
http://www.memphislibrary.org/about/libraries/central.htm
I'll be doing more conventions and events as time goes on and will alert folks here to whatever is coming up.
Best,
John Jackson Miller
