He was betrayed and murdered by Darth Vader, who was a pupil of mine until he turned to reading.

I'm telling you, books are evil. ;)

And I'm For Whom the LOL Tolls!

Back when I was considering turning this into a Top Ten, the best I could come up with was Fortuna Bell Tolls.

as young boy on Tatooine Im sure one of his faves was "The Suns Also Rise."

That was also on the list! Great minds and all that, Deej. :D

sign in Palpatines Library: "Reading is Fundemented!"

I wonder if he had books burned...
Somewhere, I had a few of those "Read, and the Force is with you" posters. I should try to find 'em!

Now if I could just get Hemingway to write something amusing to put in this comment....

He wasn't the laugh-a-minute type, so I wouldn't hold yer breath. ;)

Sometimes you could hear Vader whistles Sinatra's "All of Me" tune.

At least he had an appreciation of the classics!
And Obi-Wan was totally Dino.

Or "I Do it My Way!"

Strangulations, I've had a few...
But then again, too few to mention...

Or the Naboo classic. The Gooberfisherman & the Sea

That's better than mine: The Old Man and the C-3PO: An Uncle Owen Adventure!

He was betrayed and murdered by Darth Vader, who was a pupil of mine until he turned to reading.

Hooked on Phonics worked for me! It also destroyed the galaxy!

I liked him back in HS. At least his stuff wasn't long or wordy.

And I have to post this. It's the best one yet.

I have to wonder -- doesn't that look just the least bit staged?

Now that's downright cruel but damn funny!!!

I'd have settled for either one. :D

Wrong! I like long books, but I can do short ones just fine. Like right now, I'm read ing The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien. First time reading them, AMAZINGLY GOOD!! Just like the films.
