Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit is now making its final stop at the
Science Museum of Minnesota... afterwards, it returns to Los Angeles for just one day, so that R2-D2 and C-3PO can finally tie the knot.
A website allowing users to create their own text crawls was quickly
shut down by Lucasfilm -- apparently, George Lucas holds the sole copyright on Awesome.
Speaking of legal Lucas,
Uncle George visited Capitol Hill yesterday, and made a plea for free broadband internet access in public schools. He also warned Congress that they're either with him or they're his enemy, then shouted "Vote now! Vote now!"
The first photos were released of a
Lego Death Star playset... it's pretty cool, but will reportedly cost $400. Four
hundred? You could almost buy your own ship for that!
Finally, starwars.com recently updated its
homepage to promote the upcoming
Clone Wars movie... the fan community promptly responded by saying "Holy crap! TheForce.net changed its banner!"
