SWCCG Connections: Cardboard Memories
One of my favorite guilty pleasures is reading historian James Burke. One of his books was adapted into a popular TV show, Connections.
The whole premise behind the show is connecting a historical invention or technological theory to a modern one we all enjoy (or probably more accurately take for granted).

Looking back on my experiences in Decipher's Star Wars CCG, I have come to realize just how much the game has inpacted my life--and in ways you wouldn't really think.

So in this series of "Star Wars CCG Connections" posts, I am going to share these game-to-life connections. Ultimatey it is just another excellent example of how being involved in the Star Wars universe is always much more than your average "fan experience."

CCG is the card game right? I will look for your blogs in the near future.

And I really want some of those cards for my SW collection. They seem very interesting.

Correct.

Collecting Decipher's version of the Star Wars card game is an amazing and very rewarding experience. The lore on each card alone makes a collection a general Star Wars encyclopedia. There's also some pretty good humour. Non-Star Wars Easter Eggs can also be found in every set through Jabba's Palace.

Thanks for your interest, Siilos!
