Read, Write, Watch, Enjoy!
Star Wars has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! One of the first movies I remember watching on tv as a little child was Empire Strikes Back (and The Search For Spock!) As geeky as it sounds, I'd be telling a lie if I said Star Wars hadn't effected (or more so affected) my life.

So what blogs will you find here? Anything and everything, ranging from discussing Star Wars topics to writing as an art and profession to modern technology. I haven't actually decided, really, so let's see where this takes us :)

The Myth of the Deflector Shields

Do deflector shields really exist? Yeah, they do. Do Snub fighters have them? They're supposed to. But more often than not in the movies, it seems like the deflectors either are uselessly weak or non-existent. Which is it?
Star Wars Dark Lord - Bridging the Gap
Feb 22, 2006 09:23 AM
A well written novel that succeeded in overcoming its own short comings, Dark Lord is a must read for Star Wars fans aching to know how Vader turned from his uncertain, torn self to the bone-chilling agent of the Emperor in the Original Trilogy!
Gravity Well - The Enigma of the Death Star
Feb 19, 2006 07:31 AM
These "small moons" are far more massive than a real small moon, and probably exerted some fairly intense tidal forces on the worlds they approached. But just how severe would the effects be?

Order 66 and Behavioral Conditioning
Feb 17, 2006 10:49 AM
Behavioral condition and programming of the clones narrows down the answer to the big question: who ordered the clones, and for what original purpose? Order 66 speaks for itself: Sifo-Dyas did not order them to serve Jedi or to protect the Republic!
The Tales We Tell
Feb 14, 2006 06:21 PM
Why do story tellers tell stories? Why do actors in movies, television, and on stage portray their characters? Why did George Lucas create Star Wars? Questions questions and more questions, but is there any one real answer?
