When Revenge of the Sith came out, my then-16 year old nephew asked me if I was going to the midnight showing and if he could tag along with me. I said, sure, if he wanted to be seen with his aunt. It was going to be dark anyway..... We ended up having the best time ever!

Fast **FAST** forward Christmas 2008

My nephew came home for Christmas break from college, and on Christmas Day, he came to visit his old auntie. After the pleasantries and gift giving, he began to tell me of a day when he and his two roommates set their alarms for 5:30 am, and gathered various snack foods and had a good old fashioned Star Wars marathon. Yes, ALL 6 movies! Brought a tear of joy to my eye.

My teachings had not been in vain.

We used to sit and discuss things about the movies, but I don't think I had ever been more proud of my Padawan...or should I say Jedi Knight, because there is nothing more I can teach him.

On an unrelated humerous note, I was watching Futurama last night on Comedy Central, and it was an episode where they were going to an amusement park that had an attraction called "Past-o-rama". Anyway, it was like a tour they were taking, and on one of the "old" movie theater marquees, it read "Star Wars 9: Yoda's Bar Mitzvah" Wow....they went waaaayyyy back with that one!
