Finishing a long-overdue topic with my 6th installment of UNKNOWNS! There are so many things yet to learn.

15) The Universe. Quite a topic I know, but I've put a little thought into it and I have a hard time wrapping my brain around all these planets in this universe we know as "Star Wars". My limited knowledge of space tells me that planets revolve around a star/sun. Planets like Pluto are cold because they are a long way from the sun. Planets have an orbit that keeps them in motion, and they revolve around an axis. Is there such a thing as a planet that does not revolve or orbit? Do all these planets have their own suns, we just don't talk about them? How does a twin sun work anyway? Asteroid fields exist, but they also need a gravity field, correct? I've seen the "poster" of the Star Wars Universe, and it's cool, but confusing to me... they don't all stay in the same place... or are they really different solar systems? I guess this is probably the case and we see the whole thing as a galaxy. I'm no astronomer, but it's a pretty amazing setup.

16) The wheel. Again... a vast topic, but here we go. Why would the Empire go to giant metal walkers? Why not keep with the "floating" destruction that we see in Episode One when the droids land on Naboo? Why not use the Juggernauts with wheels like Episode Three? Why have a droid with wheels pulling a floating cart like on Tatooine in Episode Two? Even a Harrier Jet has wheels for landing. I realize that Helicopters do not, but wheels seem to make sense in a lot of situations. I understand it is "Sci-Fi" so don't yell at me for questioning the technology. Why not put repulsors on R2? They put rockets on him. Why have rolling Mouse droids and walking Gonk droids? I just think it's an unknown quantity in this universe. Are wheels just not cool?

17) Mixed Race. I understand that Tuskens can't mate with humans... but can Jawas? Zabraks? Bothans? Hutts? I haven't seen a Half-Hutt, Half-Human (unless that's what Yarna was), but that doesn't mean it can't happen. I really wonder about those that are close... like the Togruta and Chagrian. Are they related? We know the Bith and Ybith are related. We know the Neimoidians and Duros are related. Are the Zabraks a mating between Devaronian and Human? Some Twi'lek have four lekku, and some Aqualish have sucker hands. What happens if a Twi'lek mates with Nautolan (Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura)? Is this like seeing a Liger or a Mule? or is it like Cats and Dogs living together. On our planet we see people all the time that are mixed race... I'm just curious about the Star Wars Universe.

Is this like seeing a Liger

"A liger, it's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed, bred for it's skills in magic." What? You haven't seen Napoleon Dynamite?

Good questions. You bring up a good point in Question 15. The Star Wars galaxy doesn't seem to follow the basic laws of our universe. Question 16: I don't know.

As for 15, I think most of the planets either have their own sun or share a sun with another planet. There is planets, systems and sectors in the GFFA just like our own galaxy. Take for example, Corellia in the Corellia system shares it's sun (Corell) with Selonia, Drall, Tralus and Talus. Other planets have their own systems and own stars, etc. Binary star systems (like Tatooine in the Tatoo system) do exist in our own universe/galaxy. Not sure if any planets revolve around them, I'm not an astronomy buff.

I shall now have images of Bothans and Hutts in bed together seared forever into my imagination. The pain!

I've wondered about the whole mixed-species thing before, too! How would that work? Is it possible? That could mean some VERY strange offspring...... :O

Thought-provoking questions!
