Episode XIX: I, Jedi
After reading Otis Frampton's latest Blog entry, I thought I'd adapt his idea for my own Blog (for 'adapt', see 'shamelessly steal'). Here's my What Kind of Star Wars Fan I Am list:

Character From The Saga: Obi-Wan Kenobi (as Stover so succintly puts it, Kenobi is the ultimate Jedi)

Jedi: Obi-Wan Kenobi (natch)

Sith: Darth Sidious (cue much maniacal cackling from the Hanging Off The Senate Pod As Yoda Slinks Away scene in RotS)

Vehicle: Either the LAAT/i gunship or the TX-130S fighter tank (as seen in The Clone Wars and the Battlefront games)

Starship: Eta-2 Actis interceptor (AKA the totally awesome Jedi Interceptor, neatly supplanting the Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter as my fave vessel)

Alien: Twi'lek (if you want to know why, here's two words: 'Aayla' and 'Secura'. Another two: 'Mission' and 'Vao'. Any further words relating to these characters would likely violate the Terms of Service, so I'll leave the rest up to your imagination ;))

Creature: To be honest, I don't really have a preference, though I guess I'll go with the three 'arena beasts' (Acklay, Reek and Nexu)

Beast of Burden: Bantha (the original and best. I was going to go with Boga, until I remembered her annoying shriek. With her and the eopie, Obi-Wan sure knows how to pick the most irritatingly-voiced creatures, doesn't he?)

Weapon: Lightsaber (would any fan say different? Lightsabers are the weapon of choice)

Planet: Coruscant (Triple Zero is the greatest planet in the galaxy, no question. And thanks to the Yuuzhan Vong, now with 30% more green stuff!)

Environment: Jedi Temple (one of the most iconic locations in the saga. I'd love to be able to explore the place, since we get to see so little of it in the movies)

Actor: Liam Neeson (just because Qui-Gon is awesome)

Actress: Carrie Fisher (there isn't really much choice, is there? Now, if Nat had worn that gold bikini, maybe....)

Director: Irvin Kershner (naturally, Mr. Empire Strikes Back is the fan's favourite. And he sounds like a real-life Yoda! Check the DVD commentary for much hilarity)

Screenplay: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (amazing, and a pity that the film didn't quite live up to its promise)

Soundtrack: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (not only does it contain some great new tracks [Battle of the Heroes, Enter Lord Vader, Anakin's Betrayal] this soundtrack also uses amazing tracks from previous 'sodes [Duel of the Fates, Qui-Gon's Funeral, Princess Leia's Theme, the Emperor's Theme])

Trailer: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (since I sorta missed out on the whole pre-Episode I frenzy [no Internet back then] this was the definitive trailer for me. Totally blew me away on first viewing. Also of note is the emotional 'Tragedy' TV spot)

Movie Poster: Episode I: The Phantom Menace (great collage, well, except for the inclusion of Jar Jar. The Anakin/Vader shadow was great, too)

DVD: Episode II: Attack of the Clones (some great extras here. Episode III was somewhat disappointing, and I've pretty much forgotten the Episode I DVD by now)

Animated Series: Clone Wars Series I and II (what else? And yeah, Series III was good too, but waaay to many continuity mistakes for this canon-headed fan's liking)

Video Game: At the moment, Battlefront II, though kudos must also go to Knights of the Old Republic, LEGO Star Wars and Jedi Starfighter

Board Game: Not much into the Board Side of the Force, but I do own Monopoly Star Wars (classic edition), so I'll go with that

Action Figure: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode I)

Toy: Some big-assed Star Destroyer from Micro Machines

Toy Line: Though I don't own any of them, the Unleashed line. Truly epic stuff

EU Book: Revenge of the Sith, Matthew Stover (Reduced me to blubbering tears on at least three separate occasions. It rocks like no other Star Wars novel could ever hope to).

EU Comic: I guess the whole Quinlan Vos arc, but in particular, Twilight, Darkness and Rite of Passage. I'd also like to give a nod to Union for its amazing artwork.

EU Character: Quinlan Vos (the coolest anti-hero of them all)
