My Review of True Colours
I've been reading other blogs and I have just realised. No-one has done a review of True Colours. I'm gonna do my best and WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD! (Just in case some of you di'kut didnt read the first part!)

Okay first thing's first we finally got to see inside the mind of Walon Vau. After reading it I went on Republic Commando on the Xbox and loaded and reloaded bits until I got some about him. I love how he's portrayed and I start to feel sorry for him while in Triple Zero I hated him!X-(

I loved how we saw more into how Omega felt but was a bit annoyed that Karen Traviss didn't write as Atin. I know she has to do every character equally but she hasn't even tried Atin yet. But maybe we'll get that in the next book.

I like all the bits with Mereel and Ko Sai. I loved how Ko Sai insulted him and then Ordo and Mereel drove her insane by "destroying" her data. But I felt so sorry for Skirata when he saw that. I like his line when he realised that he wasnt as smart as he thought he was : I put these boys in front of their tormenter and expected them to cope. I felt better towards him because ,like Jade Sabre,I was pretty cheesed off with him but thats round about when I started feeling better about him and by the end he was Kalbuir again. :_|

I felt so much for Etain (despite not being a girl!) and I felt so sorry for her having to give Skirata her kid Venku. But if you read Sacrifice and Revalation in the LotF series you find out he grew up well. I loved that bit when she picked up the comlink and said just that one word: Ba'buir! I was so happy for her. Then Venku got taken away! :_|

I was also upset by the "removal"of Fi. I was upset until he got to Mandalore and started to get better. Maybe soon he'll be back to his old wisecracking self.

And with that done I feel better about myself. Just needed to get that off my chest. Can't wait for the next book which if my sources are correct than is called "Order 66". Wander what that'll be about.

Re'turcye mhi ner vod!

Ahem, I wrote one. :D

Great review! I really like True Colors, it was a great read and a nice progression by Traviss - going from the unique differences between the clone troopers and the people they are fighting to protect to the more ethical/moral issues surrounding the clone army and the Jedi.

Definitely excited for Order 66!!! :)

Yeah, I hated him in Trip Zip too, but In True Colors he was one of my favorites!
I like all the bits with Mereel and Ko Sai.
Me too. I also really liked the interaction between Etain and Ko Sai. Towards the end of Ko Sai's life, I honestly felt sorry for her.
I felt so much for Etain
Me too! I was saying in Jade's blog about Triple Zero that I connect to Etain more than almost any other Star Wars character.

Oh, I know! I like Fi and all, but my sister is IN LOVE with him. She'll occasionally start spazzing out over whole thing, and I'm the one who has to listen to it! :O

Cool. I reckon Jusik heals Fi because of something he said in Revalation: "Some other patients I've treated complained of flashbacks". That's either a hint or something to lead us off track.

Hey, nice blog! I'd say more, but I'm planning a review of the series (though it'll probably take me awhile), so I'll bite my tongue. ;) Thanks for the shout out!
