There is no light..only Darkness, quickly drowning the landscape as the suns fade on the galaxy...


Everyone dies....some as (soldiers in war) martyrs to their cause,. Others as victims (victims of terrorism) of the hate of the few being taught to the many. some as victims of the irresponsibility of (drunk drivers and other addicts) others who couldn't care less of the fatal consequences that their decisions have on others. some die before (birth) they even realized they were alive. and some die without dying........victims of the pressure of the oppresive dark. The dark which is fed by those who refuse the Light in favor of something easier.

There is something wrong in this world. I don't wan't to go all philosophical and political here in the Star Wars Blogs, but, I believe Force philosophy is a fitting template to describe certain things.

In the Star Wars universe, as evident in episodes 2 & 3, the darkside of the force is an oppresive veil. A haze that blinds even the best of people. In my observation, it was the growing corruption (kick-backs, illegal deals, money laundering, violent crimes, lies, slavery, etc.) in the republic that fed the growing dark side. This growing shadow was embraced, exploited and eventually magnified by the Sith Lords, a very few powerful individuals dedicated to obtaining power and authority over others. Also evident was the fact that the best of the Galaxy, (especially the Jedi) failed to prepare for the consequences of that menacing shadow. They were caught asleep on the job. Sadly, the dark cloud that was the shroud of the darkside is not justification for their failure. Yoda said it best when he said that they were "too sure of themselves,...even the older, more experienced ones" The Jedi realized what was happening, but it was too late, everlastingly too late.

My purpose in this blog, is to point a macrobinocular to our galaxy and to our time, our world. Here in the United States there is a dangerous atmosphere that is destroying our values, values that the framers of the US constitution held precious. Abroad, Terrorists had managed to disrupt the lives of people in London, but their reaction to the attacks is a credit to their resolve. The war is continuing in Iraq because a few (meaning not the majority of Iraqui people) are refusing to let go of their ill-had power.(power used to murder their own people, like their former leader hussein)...Before I start to ramble, I just wanted to leave it open to all you guys. to discuss in open discussion, in all fairness and common sense. I believe we need to open ourselves to the lightside of the force that's in all of us. Let us not be crippled by the dark glass which we are forced to look through. Let us be prepared in these dark times, to choose to do what is right and to prevent darkness to cover the world. The will of the Force, and I say the will of God, is for us to be truly happy, for us to have Joy.... I hope that the opening line will be proven false...It is false....let us make it false....Thanks for reading.
