This is a fantasy conversation between Darth Plagueis and his apprentice Darth Sidious. This may or may not have happened. It is not really Fan-fiction, it is just a springboard for an argument supporting Anakin's origins in relation to Sith experimentation....Enjoy....

Nightime among the ancient swamp ruins of Naboo...

Darth Sidious- At last you have returned my master.

Darth Plagueis- I sense much anxiousness in you, Lord Sidious. You wish to ask me something? You would like to know? ..............Patience!

Darth Sidious- I only longed for your guidance my master. I would only ask what I have asked before. To know the secret of...

Darth Plagueis- The force sensitve Zabrak, Lord Sidious. How is his training? Is our little assasin ready for his task?

Darth Sidious- He wishes to be a Sith. He has adorned himself with Sith markings and....

Darth Plagueis- There can only be two, Lord Sidious. A master, that would be me; and an apprentice, that would be you. Be mindful Lord Sidious that this young Zabrak does not become too ambitious.

Darth Sidious- Ambition is what drives us Master. It is the reason we are so powerful.

Darth Plagueis- You are so very patient Lord Sidious. You will become a very powerful Sith one day. Soon the revenge of the Sith will be accomplished. I have news, my apprentice....The power to cheat death is one that you are not ready to learn..... Enough knowledge of its existence you already have....... I have done it Lord Sidious. My experiment has brough forth fruit. I have compelled the midi-chlorians to conceive a child!

Darth Sidious- A human child?!

Darth Plagueis-Yes my apprentice. Far away there is a woman who will discover that she is with child.... An unexpected bonus I have discovered also. This child is already powerful in the Force. He could become more powerful than either of us Lord Sidious.

Darth Sidious- Where is this child my master? When will we take him?

Darth Plagueis- You think me a fool Lord Sidious?! Conform yourself with what you have been given.

Darth Sidious- I want more!! I must have this knowledge! Teach me how.

Darth Plagueis- I have taught you everything that I know but this one thing. I must be the master. Surely you understand.

Darth Sidious- Yes my master....I understand.

Soon after, with his future apprentice by his side, Darth Sidious raids his Master's fortress stealthily, his future apprentice as his rear guard. He reaches his Masters bed chamber. He senses his master's power, power which he has already learned, except for one secret that his master was too afraid to reveal. His master's weakness. Sidious reaches into his cloak and reveals his lightsaber, places the hilt to his master's chest and iginites it. "Now I am the Master!" he declares triumphantly as Plagueis gasps his last breath, barely opening his eyes to see the future sith lords standing over him. And so Sidious trains the man to be known as Darth Maul as his new Sith Apprentice, reaching out to find the child conceived with the help of his former master. Soon, the Jedi would discover young Anakin Skywalker, and bring his master's legacy to Him. Darth Sidious, Dark Lord of the Sith!
