Hey everyone!!!

I don't know why, but I feel I should apologize for being so hard on The Old Republic game in my last blog . If you don't mind, I'm just going to delete the entry, because I feel it was pretty lame anyway. I'm not infallible or anything like that. Maybe I'll write it again some other time when I'm not in an irritable mood. If you haven't read it yet, you won't be missing out .

So, I was talking about the upcoming Dynasty of Evil novel! As I said, I'm really excited about it, and personally, I'm hoping for a more unique ending than "Zannah kills Bane, finds new apprentice, end of story". I just thought it would be interesting to give you a few different alternate scenarios that I think would be much more interesting.

(Note that a Darth Cognus will be making an appearance in Dynasty of Evil)

Scenario 1
Zannah is planning to kill Bane, as she believes that he is underestimating her. She sees this as a time of weakness for Bane, so plans to kill him. Still, she sees that Bane is one powerful Sith Lord, so she figures she'll need some help. Zannah decides to find herself an apprentice to help her out with Bane, and become her prospective apprentice. Zannah finds the Dark Lord to be, Cognus, and decides that she is right for the job. When Zannah and Cognus confront Bane together, Zannah is killed, and Cognus becomes Bane's new apprentice.

Scenario 2
Similar to Scenario 1, but ends differently. Zannah wants an apprentice to help her with Bane, so she finds Cognus. Zannah doesn't suspect any treachery from Cognus yet, because she figures that if Cognus tries to kill her, she won't be able to benefit from Zannah's training. Cognus then goes on to kill the unsuspecting Zannah. Bane learns about this, admires Cognus for her treachery, so takes her as his apprentice.

Scenario 3
Bane is beginning to doubt Zannah, so starts looking for a new apprentice to take on once Zannah's gone. Bane finds Cognus. Then Bane get's an idea . He'll test Zannah's loyalty to his own teachings by getting Cognus to pretend to apprentice herself to Zannah. If Zannah falls for the bait, she's unworthy, so Banes says Cognus should kill her then and there. Zannah fails the test, so Cognus kills her, and becomes Bane's apprentice.

Scenario 4
Bane and Zannah face off alone. As he often does, Bane has a nasty trick up his sleeve, so he manages to kill Zannah. Bane then takes on Cognus as his apprentice.

Scenario 5
Darth Bane gets killed somewhere else (to say that he's not killed by either Zannah or Cognus) so Zannah takes Cognus as her apprentice. Kinda' boring, but whatever. It's possible.



Personally, I'd love to see a surprise ending to the book, because as Darth Tyrannus said, "treachery is the way of the Sith". However the story turns out, it's still going to be a really interesting read, so chances are, I won't be disappointed. The most appealing thing about the book (for me) would be to see how Bane's Sith Order plans to weaken the Republic to pave the way for the future Sith. I also would love to learn more about Darth Cognus, and see how everything surrounding her will tie in with her awesome apprentice Darth Millennial
