Who is the greatest Sith Lord? (Part 3)~Darth Bane
Here's Part 3--Darth Bane ]:) !!!

Darth Bane~Yuthura Ban described the prophesied Sith'ari as being "One who has freed themselves from all restrictions has reached perfection, their potential fulfilled." The Sith'ari was the prophesied savior of the Sith, a perfect being who would destroy the Sith and rebuild them stronger then ever. Darth Bane fulfilled that prophecy several thousand years later, when he deceptively used the secrets of the Thought Bomb ( suicidal force device that Bane introduced to Kaan and his followers, causing them to believe that by harnessing it's power, they could destroy the Jedi Order. In reality, the Jedi Order survived, and the Brotherhood was destroyed) that he discovered in Darth Revan's holocron to destroy the Brotherhood of Darkness. He reorganized the Sith Order with his "Rule of Two", which stated that there was to be only one master and one apprentice in the Sith Order. When the apprentice grew stronger than the master, they would challenge and slay them to ensure that the Master was always most powerful.
When serving in Lord Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness, Bane saw that the Sith Order was faltering under Kaan's "Rule by the Strong", which allowed there to be thousands of Sith, led by dozens of Dark Lords who had been declared equal under the Brotherhood. Bane realized that such widespread power would weaken the Sith--he told Darth Zannah, the first apprentice under the Rule of Two that there should be only two Sith at a given time--one master and one apprentice. The concept behind the Rule of Two was to protect the strong from being overthrown by many lesser Sith who mass together against that stronger Sith to make up for their weakness as individuals. The Rule of Two also ensured that the Sith would not be revealed to the Jedi until the moment had come for their revenge.
One of Bane's first acts under his Rule of Two was to find an apprentice to carry on his institution--a girl named Rain, who later became Darth Zannah.
Bane was a fierce lightsaber duelist, a master of Djem So, and Soresu. He was able to defeat four of the most powerful Jedi in the Order with the assistance of Darth Zannah. He had incredible stamina, fighting unending waves of technobeasts for over an hour in the fortress of the Sith Lord Belia Darzu in order to obtain the holocron the creatures were guarding. He could feed his Force power off of his own pain, notably harnessing the grueling infliction of his parasitic Orbalisk armor. A master of telekinesis, he was able to pull Dxun into Onderon's atmosphere so he could cross through the atmosphere on a flying beast. He was proficient in the use of Force Lightning as well as many other force abilities. Like the Dark Lord, Darth Sion, Bane could endure incredible quantities of pain and illness, surviving the deadly toxins of his Orbalisk armor when he was charred by his own barrage of Force Lightning.
Without a doubt, Bane had the greatest legacy of all the Sith Lords, as his dedication and passion allowed the Sith to survive for yet another millennia until they finally took their revenge on the Jedi under the Galactic Empire.

Bane's Negatives...
Being the Sith'ari, the perfect being, and the epitome of "Sithhood", I don't believe Bane had any notable negatives as a Sith.

Hope you enjoyed it!!! Feel free to comment!
(If there are any other Sith Lords that you feel should be in the running, just say so. I'll include them in the series if I agree.)

Part 4 may be coming tomorrow (I'm on a roll :D )
