Who is the greatest Sith Lord? (Part 4)~Darth Sion
For those of you who have (or have not) been reading my little "greatest Sith Lord" series, here's Part 4!!! The next contestent in the "greatest Sith contest is Darth Sion, the Lord of Pain :O !!!

Darth Sion~The fearsome co-initiator of the First Jedi Purge, the decomposing Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sion became one of the only Sith to hold the secrets to immortality. Fighting the Jedi as a Sith Marauder under Exar Kun in the Great Sith War, Sion first discovered the keys his immortality when he was dealt a deadly blow in battle, but rather than surrender his life, he found that by calling on his pain, he could find the power to prolong his life and defeat death. A survivor of the Great Sith War, Sion was able to prolong his life until the rise of Revan and Malak's Sith Empire. He allied himself with the Sith Empire of the Star Forge, and following Malak's defeat at the hands of the redeemed Jedi Revan, the Sith Empire collapsed into a state of civil war. Malak described this Sith Civil War during his duel with the Jedi Exile, telling her of how "the Sith turned on each other, like beasts" in the vicious struggle for power. Sion survived yet another war, until he was discovered by the fallen Jedi Kreia, who called herself Darth Traya. Sion, Traya, and another Sith Lord called Darth Nihilus joined together to form the Sith Triumvirate, a secretive organization bent on destroying the Jedi Order. They began to initiate the First Jedi Purge, Sion utilizing the Sith Assassins of Revan's Sith Empire to wage a shadow war against the Jedi Order.
Sion was an accomplished swordsman, and Force user, though it is not known in what areas of swordsmanship he specialized. He could use Force Lightning, Force Drain, and likely a host of other powers common to both Jedi and Sith.

Sion's Negatives...
As a Sith Lord, Sion's main power rested on his ability to regenerate his life, even when killed, being able to rise up to kill his enemies after being struck down. One of the few select Sith Lords who achieved immortality, Sion's main weaknesses were his relationships with both the Exile and Kreia. The former relationship led to his demise, when the Exile convinced him that to let go of his hate and pain so he could die with peace.

I guess that wraps up Part 4. Hope you enjoyed it, Part 5 will be coming either later today or tomorrow! ]:) Thanks for reading!!! As always, feel free to comment. B-)
(If there are any other Sith Lords that you feel should be in the running, just say so. I'll include them in the series if I agree.)

MTFBWY!!! :) :D
