I guess it's time for Part 5!!! Here, I'll be discussing Darth Nihilus, the Lord of Hunger !!!

Darth Nihilus~The activation of the Mass Shadow Generator during the Battle of Malachor V during the Mandalorian Wars left the Force Sensitive human who would become Nihilus ruined. Losing everything he had, he was one of the few survivors of the cataclysimic event. Following the battle, he became a Wound in the Force, and found that he had an insatiable craving for the power of the Force that he did not know how to satisfy. Years later, he was finally discovered by Darth Traya, who was searching for Wounds in the Force, searching for a way to destroy both the Jedi and Sith Orders. She took him to the Trayus Academy where she taught him the ways of the Dark Side so he could feed his hunger for the Force by tearing the life out of Force Sensitive beings. Thus, he became Darth Nihilus, one of the three Dark Lords of the Sith who formed the Sith Triumvirate--the other two were Darth Sion, the Lord of Pain, and Darth Traya, the Lord of Betrayal. These three Sith Lords were bound together by their hatred of the Jedi Order. These three Sith Lords nearly succeeded in destroying the Jedi Order in the First Jedi Purge. Nihilus was responsible for the Devastation of Katarr, where the last hundred known Jedi who gathered together to discuss the future of the Jedi Order were slain by Nihilus. This became one of the most infamous events in the history of the Galaxy, when Nihilus created a Wound in the Force, consuming nearly all life on the planet (with the exception of a Miraluka called Visas Marr, whom Nihilus took as his apprentice), ravaging the world with his power. Visas Marr described Nihilus as being "a wound in the Force, more presence than flesh, and in his wake life dies... sacrificing itself to his hunger."
Nihilus was an accomplished swordsman, and like many other Sith Lords, he fought with aggressive passion. He could use Dark Side powers like Dark Rage, Force Scream, Force Lightning, Dark Healing, Farsight, as well as telekenetic powers. He had also learned how to use other mysterious Dark Side powers.

Nihilus' Negatives...
Though Nihilus had earned the title of Dark Lord, it is apparent from the comments of others such as Kreia that he cared nothing for the Sith teachings, and that "when the Jedi are dead, he will feed on the galaxy, the Republic, and eventually, consume the Sith as well." It is also apparent that his status as Dark Lord was next to useless to him, as he lived only to satisfy his own hunger, and not to gain more power within the Sith Order. He didn't do much for the Sith Order in the long run, as opposed to Dark Lords like Revan, Bane, and Freedon Nadd who clearly made their mark on the future of the Sith.

I really hope you've been enjoying this series so far. It's been really interesting for me, so I look forward to writing more. Part 6 (Darth Revan) may be coming today, because I've been looking forward to writing about Revan for a while.
