I'm gonna' enjoy this one...I've become a bit of a Revan fanboy, so forgive me . Go ahead and skip the boring parts. Unfortunately, there's no shot of Revan in the picture collection, so I have to use this guy instead--------------->
Darth Revan~After discovering the distant threat of the True Sith Empire, the Jedi Knight Revan, the charismatic hero of the Mandalorian Wars who defied the Jedi Council and led the Republic to victory against the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, allowed himself to be corrupted by the Dark Side of the Force

. He planned to uproot the Galactic Republic, and replace it with his own regime, which he felt could better protect the Galaxy against the True Sith. With him, Revan recruited many of his followers from the Republic and the Jedi, including his close friend Malak, who became Revan's Sith apprentice. Following the Battle of Malachor V, Revan took his fleet into the Unknown Regions, claiming to be searching for the Mandalorians who had fled into space following their defeat at Malachor V. In reality, he was going to locate the Star Forge, a powerful space station that was fueled by the Dark Side of the Force. Revan had learned of the Star Forge during the Mandalorian Wars, when he discovered a Star Map in the ancient Rakatan ruins on Dantooine. He learned that the Star Forge once fueled the Rakatan Infinite Empire during their conquest of the Galaxy during the Pre-Republic, and he learned that he could only find this Star Forge by locating the other four Star Maps on Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, and Korriban. By the conclusion of the Mandalorian Wars, Revan and Malak had discovered the remaining Star Maps, and were able to locate the Star Forge.
Finally, Revan had found the Star Forge, but he was forced to make a crash landing on the Rakatan homeworld of Lehon, due to the disruptor field that was created by the Temple of the Ancients to protect the Star Forge. (Note that the teachings and secrets of Revan's holocron, which
Darth Bane found inside the Temple of the Ancients gave Bane much of the knowledge and insight he needed to become the Sith'ari.) He disabled the disruptor field, and was able to reactivate the ancient alien technology of the Star Forge, which served as a powerful factory that fueled his war effort against the Republic.
At last, Revan, Malak, and their followers returned to known space as Sith, recruiting many Jedi and Republic soldiers to their cause.
Revan's Sith Empire (aka Sith Empire of the Star Forge) would continue to wage their war of conquest for several years, his brilliance as a strategist bringing the Sith Empire many victories, until a Jedi strike team, led by Bastilla Shan boarded Revan's flagship in an effort to defeat the Dark Lord. As Revan prepared to engage the strike team, Darth Malak seized the opportunity to betray his master, and ordered his ships to fire on Revan's...
Revan was almost killed, but the Jedi Padawan, Bastilla Shan, used the Force to keep Revan alive, and brought him before the Jedi Council. The council destroyed Revan's old identity with the Force, replacing it with one of a loyal Republic soldier under Bastilla's command in an attempt to lead the Jedi to the Star Forge by using the Force Bond he had formed with Bastilla Shan when she saved his life aboard his flagship.
The amnesiac Revan went on to become a Jedi Knight after Bastilla Shan informed him that he could use the Force. He was given a mission to investigate the Star Map on Dantooine, where Revan learned of the Star Forge and went on to retrace his old footsteps and finally destroy the Star Forge and defeat Malak.
As a Sith Lord, Revan had mastered Force Storm, Force Choke, Force Affliction, Force Rage, Telekinesis, and the Mind Trick, among other powers. Little is known about any other powers he may have used, or how he used them, so it is difficult to gauge the full extent of his abilities. He also had great insight, realizing that overuse of the Star Forge would destroy his Empire by desensitizing his followers to the Force. He was a brilliant leader, and even Malak commended Revan for his ability to inspire loyalty after facing Revan for the first time after his betrayal. Revan was the greatest swordsman of his time. In the words of the Mandalorian, Canderous Ordo, "You, Revan, are the single greatest warrior of this age, and any battle we fight will bring me honor."
Revan's Negatives...
The most unique thing about Revan, is that his goal in falling to the Dark Side and becoming Dark Lord was to defeat the hidden faction of the Old Sith Empire called the True Sith. Some may say that this discredits him, because his motives weren't entirely "Sithlike", in that his goal was to protect the Galaxy, not to gain greater power for himself. The fact that he was redeemed, giving up his chance to regain control of his Empire also gained him disfavor in the eyes of Sith like
Darth Sion and many others. It can be argued that because of these things, he wasn't a True Sith, but no one knows what was going on in Revan's head except for Revan.
Stay tuned for Part 7, (Naga Sadow), and Part 8 (Conclusion). I'm counting on lots of input for the conclusion so don't let me down!!!
(If there are any other Sith Lords that you feel should be in the running, just say so. I'll include them in the series if I agree.)
Thanks anyway... Signing off...
