This is a nice, friendly reminder to those folks running for Hyperspace Star Wars Fan Club President that it's okay to say you're in the running but do not needlessly spam the boards and blogs daily. Once a week with a thank you to your various supporters is fine. We love that you're all excited about the race, and we're glad that you all are putting in so much effort. So thanks!

Also please refrain from flaming the other canidates and their supporters in your blog or on the boards. Name calling is still considered flaming and isn't allowed in any form here. Any blog entries here that do that will be blocked. Feel free to talk about why you want to run!

And to the supporters of the fan club president candidates:
Please do not flame other candidates as well in their comments or you could be banned for posting further comments. Period. Keep in mind, all bloggers can turn off their comments in their blogs at any time. So if you don't want to read those kinds of messages, turn off your comments.

As Dark Moose put it:

Saying "I'm not voting because of X because they don't offer this, and Y does", that's not flaming.

Saying "I'm not voting for X because he's a big fat ugly bleepin sonuva bleeper so I'm voting for Y", that's flaming.

Likewise personally attacking people that support other candidates in a similar fashion, that's flaming.
