Wow! Over $50 million in receipts for Thursday! A very big day for Star Wars indeed. The $16.5 million taken in from the midnight showing alone would have been the third highest gross for the previous weekend. Looks to be a big weekend for Episode III.

I am pitching another $21 dollars in tomorrow, as I am taking my brother and sister to see it. Hopefully I will be able to make a more definite assessment of the movie after tomorrow.
