With the release of The Force Unleashed inching closer ever so slowly, I figured it was high time to update you on the State of the Wii as it pertains to Star Wars. Lucky for me, there's actually stuff to mention.

A blog post here links to this product page for the Wii lightsaber....attachment. That's right, it's not a separate controller, but rather an add-on for the Wiimote. I don't know how I feel about this one; it lights up, but doesn't make sounds, and it's not that long either. Although I wouldn't presume to guess at how many accidents could occur from a full-length Lightsaber prop being wielded in incredibly fast-paced games.

Now this one is really cool! I had no idea these Star Wars characters could be so accurately represented as Wii characters. My favorite: Yoda. The most accurate: Obi-Wan.
