An article at 1UP.com today revealed a few characters rumored to be appearing in Soul Calibur IV. Why do you care? Because they're Darth Vader and Yoda. Now, I read this article pretty fast after it came to my attention, so at first I missed the fact that these were previews of secret characters that would be appearing in a forthcoming game. At first, I thought to myself, How can this be news if the game's been out for a while? and also I've played SC III ... and they're not in it! But upon closer inspection, the article is indeed referring to the upcoming SC IV. I won't be buying the game, as I'm trying to limit myself to Mario and Star Wars for the time being, but it looks like a promising development for Star Wars fans who want to rip their Soul Calibur-obsessed friends to pieces as everyone's favorite Jedi Master or Sith Lord.
