Yesterday, l watched the Clone Wars. Now I know what happened im between Episodes 2 and 3. That got me thinking, why is Anakin so mad that he wasn't promoted to Master when he was put on the council?

In between the time that Anakin was made a Knight, and the time when he was put on the Council, a couple of months, a year at the most had passed. So why did he feel cheated of a rank, when he had EASILY been the one to ascend to the Council the fastest. Mace got on the Council when he was 28. Anakin when he was about 23, and he was made a Knight at the age of about 22, whereas his Master was made a Knight when he was 25, and had continued serving as a Knight until he was roughly 36. 11 years passed before Obi-Wan was put on the Council, whereas Anakin made it in about a year.

He felt insulted? I wouldn't have. I know that the circumstanses are different, but ANY other Knight would have been rejoiced to be on the Council, even without being made the rank of Master. Please others, share your thoughts, so that l might be able to write a better blog, or just have a better topic to right about. I have trouble thinking topics up, let alone paying attention long enough to share my thoughts on the subject.
