No Prisoners and Fate of the Jedi
Here are links to my latest Star Wars book reviews!

The Clone Wars: No Prisoners by Karen Traviss

Fate of the Jedi: Outcast by Aaron Allston

Coruscant Nights III: Patterns of the Force
by Michael Reaves

Please try to keep negative comments for the sake of being negative to yourself. If you don't like reading the EU books anymore, then I ask that you refrain from reading or commenting here or there. After all, why would you want to read a review about a book you know you aren't going to read? ;)

ETA: Discussion is always welcome! But if you are only going to comment about the declining state of the EU, you're in the wrong place. ;)

So,if we like reading EU, but didn't like a particular book are we still allowed to comment?

Oh my goodness, yes!! Discussion is great. I'm just tired of reading comments from fans who are so dissatisfied with the EU they refuse to read chronologically "newer" books, but persist in complaining when they come out. Tirades and crusades, you know. That's what I mean by negative for the sake of being negative. It's very unproductive. Gum flapping since I'm not going to do anything to aid their plight.

LOL! OK! Just wanted to be clear before I opened my mouth!

I really liked Outcast. A nice glimpse of Luke as a Jedi Master. A great improvement for him. Although I hated the idea of him being an outcast in the first place. I am worried that he won't "Win" in the end, though. I suppose I'll have to keep reading the series to find out.

"No Prisoners" I won't read, so no comment! Similar to what you said, why read something you know you won't like? If you want to read a good Clone Wars book, then pick up "Wild Space"

"Patterns of Force" I am still struggling to get through. So, I guess it's not that good. :(

With Ben at his side, it's more like a fun adventure since he's not out there alone. That storyline was my favorite from Outcast.

I liked Clone Wars (there are only 2 "adult" Star Wars books I haven't read--Millennium Falcon and The Force Unleashed) Wild Space, my review is actually up on here in full as the previous entry. ;)

Awwww. I had lots of good fun with the CN trilogy... They're all sorts of kooky. At least you got through the first two okay! haha :)

I try to read all the novels I can find (still some older ones I havent gotten). Outcast was overall good, I look forward to Luke's journey. The TPB's or kids novels I have never read one so I cant comment. Couruscant nights I read the trilogy it was ok, but not my favorite by a long shot, some continuity stuff bothered me and the outrageous force abilities were for me a little far fetched, but overall it was ok, definitly glad it was all in PB and not hardcovers.

Continuity started bothering me when the Clone Wars and other Prequel info started appearing in post-ROTJ books. So I guess it's been bothering me for awhile! I think on some level it always will, but at this point, if I want to keep reading and enjoying the books, I'm going to have to get over it. :\
