"Look sir, Action Figures!": Collecting Report 1
In one of my previous Blog entries I expressed my disappointment to the difficoulty of finding Star Wars in Italy; even if the situation didn't get better I was able to find some interesting Collectibles during the quarter "July-August-September"( I bought most of them from United Kingdom).
Here you will find the review of the items I found.

Let's start with the Action Figures

The first action figures I found during this qaurtes were Obi-Wan and Anakin Force Battlers: the idea of making a different scale action figures series is interesting alongside with the "look" of the box who is pretty intriguing but I think they are not much "proportionate" and the reproduction of their face is not very accurate, especially Anakin's one.

I'm very pleased with the Revenge of the Sith action figure I found.
The Super-Articulation Clone Trooper is amazing: it looks incredibly real for an action figure and the armor looks a little different comapred with the other Clone figures's one: it seems a perfect reproduction of the armor we saw in the movie. I can't "comment" the 14 points of articulation because I keep action figures in their original card but I can say this is one of the best action figures ever made!
Commander Bacara is one other interesting figure: it is very deatailed, from the weapons to the armor's details such as the personalized helmet, the command skirt and the pauldron.
One other ROTS action figure I bought is Turfful: a nice figure even of not so impressive like the Clones but still an interesting findig.

The two Animated Clone Wars Action figures I got are very impressive: both Mace Windu(2004 Target exclusive) and the ARC Trooper are very detailed and very alike to the character as they apeared in the Micro series: a very rare characterist for action figures portraying characters like Jedi.

I even found three Saga action figures with StarCase: Jar-Jar Binks, Padmè Amidala Coruscant Attack and Captain Typho : they all looks great and the Jar-Jar one is very realistic. It was a great bergain considering I payed them the equivalent of about 5$ (plus the price of the starcase about 1$ and 50cent.) and they are in mint condition( well it's quite difficoult-in Europe- finding mint condition action figure for about 5$).

I was able to find only one Original Trilogy Collection figure: Luke Skywalker Dagobah Trainig and it is not an impressive one.

Micro Machines Items

I found three pretty nice micro-vehicles set : Death Star Attack set , Space Assault set and Tatooine Desert set.
But the most interesting MicroMachines item I bought is the AT-AT Action Fleet Saga vehicle: it is higly detailed and the snow-swept paint scheme makes it far more realistic and the "truncated pyramid" like box are nice and elegant. I'm glad of this finding because I heard this is a pretty rare item.

Other items

I also found the Clone Wars Volume 6 comics( so my comic collection is awaiting the Volume 7) and the 2006 poster calendar that has the beautiful star wars posters.

I'll post new reports with other reviews as soon as I'll have enought new collectibles to comments.
May the Force be with You.
