The "Canonization" of Quinlan Vos
Many of us caught the Quinlan Vos reference in Episode III as Obi-Wan Kenobi said " Seleucami has fallen and Master Vos has moved his troops to Boz Pity".

This line is something more than a simple reference, a simple "audio" Easter Egg: it made Quinaln Vos part of the Star Wars Canon( he was even supposed to be included in the movie but his presence was finally cut) as it happened with another originally Expanded Unverse character: Aayla Secura.
Even if he didn't appear in the Movie his relationship with the Canon it's very deep: Vos is one of the few non-major character that has his nome pronounced during the entire Star Wars Saga and certainly the only Jedi to receive this honour togheter with the passed away Syfo Dias: ver impressive for a chracter with no appearance on the screen.

A character very alike to Vos can be seen in The Phantom Menace but it was with Revenge of the Sith that Quinlan finally became a true Canon character. We finally knew George Lucas considers this character a Jedi fighting the Clone Wars to preserve the Republic. When we saw him in The Phantom Menace we didn't know anything about this character and even when we saw Vos on the amazing comics we hadn't no "official" proof about his affiliation with the Canon :at that time we didn't know weather Lucas considers him "Quinlan Vos: Jedi Knight" or one simple background character: Now we certainly know he is the same Jedi made famous by Dark Horse comics.
