Revenge of the Sith DVD
Yesterday I bought the Revenge of the Sith, as soon as it reached the Italian stores, and so I decided to post my comments about this great piece of Star Wars history.

The movie itself does not need comments: Revenge of the Sith is simply fantastic, epic like all Star Wars movies with the addition of more action scenes and Lightsaber duels. I think it's enough to classify the film read what critics said: "The most emotionally powerful of the six" as Boston Globe said, "Better than the Original Star Wars" as New York Times reported; just for quote few of them.

The masterfully digitally mastered DVD communicates all the epicity of the film in its entire powerful perfection: from the Battle of Coruscant to the fall of Anakin Skywalker the audience can now experience every seconds of the happenings leading to the beginning of the Original Trilogy in the best audio and video quality available in the world, a quality never seen before in any movie

After enjoing the amazing final "chapter" of the Star Wars Saga viewers can go deep into the experience of Episode III with Disc two, where lie all the
secrets and bonus features: from documentaries to deleted scenes, from trailers to many behind-the-scene look to Revenge of the Sith.

Let's analize briefly (I don't want to spoil anything ;)) several of the most important bonus features

"Within a Minute" it's a very interesting documentary telling us how complex is creating a single sequence of the movie: from its concept to its final realization. A very interesting look to how Revenge of the Sith was created.
"The Chosen One" a 14-minute look at Hayden Christensen's role as Anakin Skywalker explore many aspects of the Chosen One's transformation into Darth Vader.
"It's All For Real", the 11-minute documentary about the amazing development of Episode III action and swordplay, is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting documantaries about the Star Wars Saga ( especially because I love Lightsaber fightings )
Disc 2 also include 15 chapters of the previously available only on-line Making Episode III documentaries, now finally available in full screen resolution.

As it happened with previous Star Wars DVD, the Episode III DVD contains several deleted scenes: six for the precision and most of them ( nearly all of them) with finished visual, sound and score effects.
The deleted scenes include many of the "Senatorial happenings" cut from the theatricol release. I don't want neither to spoil anything nor writing already known stuff about these scene so I'll post a Star Wars databank update link about this matter (if you want to read something before watching them ;))

The DVD fun does not end here: you wiil enjoy all the trailers, the Jonh Williams' music video " A Hero falls", plenty of Episode III photos ( from never seen befor production photos to the release poster) and even the Battlefront II Xbox demo.

This DVD it's truly amazing : a must have for every Star Wars Fan!
