Review- PURGE *Spoliers*
I picked up the Purge One-Shot comic yesterday. It was one of the best comics I've read in a while. And along with Dark Lord, it really gets into Vader's personality a lot.

The story starts out on Eriadu, where Jedi Master Tsui Choi was leading troops. It was cool to see Choi again, becuase he hasn't appeared in many stories lately. He also is one of the older characters for Dark Horse. Choi proved that "Size matters not." When Order 66 is executed, Choi is able to fight, and wipes out the clones he was leading. He then meets up with Bultar Swan, who's wearing a cool-looking disguise. She says she was able to escape because she was at a medstation, and was warned of the attack before it happened. It was also really cool to see her survive, especially after what happened with her with Episode III. It has also been a while since she has been in any comics. Back on Coruscant, Darth Vader kills another returning character, Dama Montalvo. Montalvo originally appeared in JEDI- Mace Windu, as the padawan of fallen Jedi, Cei Vookto. The Emperor then tells Vader not to worry about the surviving Jedi. On Kessel, a group of surviving Jedi meet, including Sia-Lan Wezz, Koffi Arana and others. Arana, unlike the others, wants revenge on the sith and the empire. Master Shadday, another Jedi, leaked word that Obi-Wan would be there as well, so Vader would come. The group of Jedi banded together, hoping to be able to defeat Vader. This is what I expected to be in this story. Vader attacks, and kills Sia-Lan Wezz. He also kills some of the other Jedi. What I thought was cool was the double-sided green saber. I never expected to see a Jedi use that. Shadday, with a cortosis blade, tries to stop Vaders saber. Vader snaps her neck and stabs her with the blade. Tsui Choi is able to chop off Vader's hand and Bultar Swan slashes his leg. Koffi Arana, his lightsaber useless due to cortosis, still wants revenge. He asks for Bultar Swan's saber, and then stabs her with her own saber. This was really unexpected. I thought Vader was going to kill her. It's too bad. Vader stabs Koffi with the cortosis blade in his detached hand, and takes the lightsaber Koffi was holding, which is Bultar Swan's.Only three Jedi left, they band together to use the force to bring rocks down on Vader, Vader survives, and Clones rush in, and begin shooting. The three Jedi, Tsui Choi included, are killed. I wish Choi would've survived. He's been around longer than any of the Jedi in this story. It was sad to see him killed. It was cool to see Vader's broken helmet with his eye revealed.

Overall, it was an excellent story. The returning characters from previous stories made it more interesting too. Definitely worth picking up.

(Oh, and the picture I put was the closest I could get to the cover or story)
