Desert Planet Discs
Our guest this week is Jedi Master Plo Koon, recently voted Jedi Most Likely to Appear on Desert Planet Discs by a survey of three people.

I Wanna Be Like You from The Jungle Book
This tune gives me the fever. I listen to it on the way to the Jedi Temple every Wednesday morning, and I'm just bee-bopping my way throughout Council sessions for the rest of the day.

If I Were a Rich Man from Fiddler on the Roof
This folk song has all the ingredients of an international hit, with the words "diddle diddle dum" thrown in for good measure.

Tune from the Barilla Pasta Advert
I heard this catchy tune on holiday on Kamino and have been humming it ever since. On a desert planet I'd be lost without something to sing along with.

Final Movement from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony
You may be wondering how I've ever heard of Beethoven, what with being in a galaxy far, far away and all, but I have. Tiddle-pom-pom-pommm, pom pom pom pom pom pom...

We Are Sailing sung by Barry Manilow
This one's pretty embarrassing, seeing as it's by old Barry, but hey, it's impossible to get out of your head.

Mambo Number Five
Yep, that's the tune that plays at the beginning and end of Channel Four's cricket coverage. It's perfect for practising my cover drives.

Rule Plotannia
A variation of Rule Britannia, this Plotastic song really brings home how amazing Plo is at everything.

Nine Hundred and Ninety-nine Thousand Million, Nine Hundred and Ninety-nine Thousand, Nine Hundred and Ninety-nine Bottles on the Wall
This one's to pass the time in between listening to the other seven songs.

Book: A Short History of Plo by Plo Koon
Buy my book!

Luxury: A four-poster feather bed with clap-operated lights in the roof.
The clap-operated lights would be useful for the rescue helicopter if it has to land at night-time.
