Does anyone know why Commandos aren't mentioned in any other books?

Or are they in other books? Fill me in if there are.

I mean, they are almost as cool as ARCs, but they get no publicity.

And , just as a thought, wouldn't a movie about them be great?

Questions, comments, kudos, or just good old info would be great.
