Leadership Part 2
Who are the leaders in Star Wars?

1. Padme. Definitely a great leader, a queen in her teens, and galactic senator. She starts the movement against Palpatine in ep 3, and would have become Chief of State had she lived and her daughter not taken over that post.

2. Princess Leia. Also, a definite choice, Chief of State for many years, also a Senator, and one of the Rebellion's best. She is a great diplomat, and without her, the Rebellion would really have faltered.

3. Bail Organa. Close friend of Padme and Mon Mothma, husband of Alderaan's queen, and also a Senator. He did not protest against Palpatine outright, but worked quietly to get his Republic back, a goal he never saw.

4. Mon Mothma. The real head of the New Republic, she works endlessly until her death for the good of the people. Similar to Bail in protest of Palpatine.

5. Luke. Luke is an integral member of the Rebel Alliance, and the founder of the New Jedi Order. He teaches all of the new Jedi how to become a Jedi, and helps defend Yavin 4 during Imperial attacks. He is also a decent diplomat; he gets the Noghri to side with him, and kill Thrawn.

6. Chewie. Because Han is not the most responsible of adults, Chewie is often looking out for Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin, when C-3PO isn't. He is obviously a strong and ferocious fighter, but can be more caring and thoughtful than one would think.

Also in this list, I could have included Thrawn, Vader, and quite a few other Imperial commanders, but I did not because they led the wrong side, and did not win in the long run. These also exclude Palpatine, because a) I don't like him and b) he ruled with a reign of terror, and was really only a good leader because he was Sith.

Also, for those that missed it, I advise you to go here, for a blog on the leadership camp I went to, which inspired me to write this blog. http://blogs.starwars.com/maul1331/35

God bless, and MTFBWY.
