I was reading Insider issue number 87 and noticed on page 7 that there were three interesting questions that might need an answer. I have decided to post this blog in order to answer these questions, and I hope this ends up on the main screen.

1. In A New Hope, Vader says "There'll be no one to stop us this time." Who stopped them last time, and from doing what? My guess is that he is referring to when the plan for the Death Star was originally stolen. I do not know much about this, so any help would be great.

2. How much is a credit worth to the US dollar? Well, I have no idea, but my guess is that it is probably a little closer to a Euro, but still a little more. Remember, in ANH, Luke and Obi-Wan pay Han 20,000 for passage to Alderaan. Now, this is hard to measure, since we don't have interstellar travel, but I would guess that this price is a little inflated, simply because this is Han Solo. If anyone has a better example or more info, I would be glad to hear it.

3. Why didn't Owen and Beru recognize C-3PO in A New Hope? He used to live with them! Well, my guess is as good as yours, but I think that they didn't want Luke to know that they had once had C-3PO, because that would be a tie to his father. Also, it might be that he had silver plating then, and gold plating now, but that is probably not it. The best guess would be because this movie was made roughly 20 years before, and Lucas would not have known that Shmi Skywalker would own him.
