Book Review: Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter
Darth Maul, what can we say about him? I mean, we know so very little about this character! Until now....

Ok, so this book isn't new or anything, but I'm gonna start reviewing books now!

Set in the period right before Episode 1 takes place, Maul is set on a deadly mission to kill runaway Trade Federation nemoidian, and anyone he may have talked to about the Naboo blockade. Now, most of you think that Maul was cool in EP 1. Well, I have some good news because Shadow Hunter brings out the best of his attitude, fighting skills, and hate! On the other side of the story, you get a young padawan who is sent on an extremely dangerous mission in the underbody of Coruscant. The young padawan uncovers a deadly secret that is even too dangerous for a trained Jedi Knight to meddle with.

I read this book in about 2 days total. It's not a short book, but I mean, you go through this book without ever wanting to put it down. It is a great read! I would definitely recommend it on somethingl like a plane ride because this will sure keep your attention for a long time!

Overall, this is one of the best books I have ever read, with amazing style, atmosphere and detail, this is a must read for any Star Wars fan!

I give it a:

:D :D :D :D :D out of 5

I liked this book as well. Darsha Assant is a cool character as is the Jedi who trained her ... Master Bondara. I first ran across these characters in the book Cloak of Deception by James Luceno and to see where their journey leads them is interesting. I also liked how we get some of Darth Maul's back story , and how he was trained. Discipline is the key to power , and this seems to be the perfect motto for Maul in this book.]:)

I also read this book and loved it. I couldn't put it down. It kind of reminds of the show, '24' or 'The Fugitive' because of its fast paced intensity. The main characters are constantly on the run from Darth Maul, just inches from his grasp. It's also interesting to see what the underbelly of Coruscant life is like. You're under the impression that the Jedi Temple is really not that far away from the protagonists, but there is just so much sprawl (sorry, I don't mean to sound like an an environmentalist; gross:( ) that they can't just find a straight shot there; too many obstacles in the way.

I loved the book as well, and found that it was almost painful to set it down. It was great, and is probably #2 on my list of favorite star wars books. It was well written, and is about my favorite all time character. Nice review, a little short, maybe go more in depth on future reviews, but otherwise was great. Keep reviewing away!

I loved the book. A novel 100 percent about a Sith hehe.
(one of the reasons i highly await Dark Lord Rising)
And the Resident Evil feel of the big 'boss' Darth Maul relentlessly pursuing the 'heroes' and the climax/finale with the expected yet unexpected ending... was great.
