The Making of Star Wars Episode 3: Book Review
I am back with yet again another book review!

This time, it is not a novel, but a book about the process of making Episode III.

Ok let me first say this is a great collector's book, I mean this book has great cover art, and some really interesting things inside which I will get into later.

So when you first get into this thing, it really is quite overwhelming. I mean there is so much text and pictures to look at. There are great entries from the most well-known production crew and cast, and there are entries from the lesser know people. Oh, and all the pictures are top quality and full color. There are even a lot of pictures and entries from the earliest stages of pre-production from concept art to interviews.

Another great thing about this book is that there are sets and scripts that are shown that never appear in the movie. I also liked the fact that above every entry, there was a "Time, set, etc." marker that showed what was done in that entry and who was in it. I mean, this is one of the most in-depth "Making Of" books I have ever read. There are tons of great information and extras in this book.

The book itself is very nice and well put together. They have both the hardcover and softcover, both of which contain the same material. The hardcover only costs about four or five dollars more than the softcover, but that is the biggest problem with this book. It is an extremely good book, but the price is a little hefty in some stores. I think that if you are an avid Star Wars fan, though, you can fork out the money for this.

Overall, this is a great book. There is tons of great information in this book. It is one of the best "Making Of" books I have ever bought. However, the price is a little high if you are just a casual fan, otherwise anyone who LOVES Star Wars and Episode III, should go pick this up.

I give The Making of Star Wars Episode III a:
:D :D :D :D / Out of 5
Enjoy!

Well, it varies, I got mine for a cheaper $22 for my softcover, but I've seen places sell it for $25 for soft and $30 for hard.

And if you look on Starwarshop, you find that it is a whopping $40!
