E3 As of May 11th...Impressions!
Ok, so I'll break down the major companies of E3 and rate their showing...tell me if I miss any, and if you want me to talk about other ones (remember, I can't hit them all)! And one final note...since I have not attended E3...these will be very small descriptions.

First off:

Microsoft:
A great showing off of what the 360 can actually do. With playable demos of Gears of war, the Microsoft booth will remain packed. Their hardware is starting to get some momentum with fans and 3rd party support. Also, we are seeing graphical improvements on the game which until now did not really show off as "next-gen" graphics.
8.5/10

Nintendo:
Finally! Some showing off of their Revo...I mean "Wii". Yes, that's right...it is called the Wii. I dunno...but now that people can finally play it, it is gaining momentum. The games, yes, do not have as great of graphics as we woulda hoped, but the uniqueness of the controller makes up for that by far. I'd have to say that I am most excited by Super Mario Galaxy the most!
8/10

Sony:
...What can we say. Well, Sony has put us in an interesting position with the PS3. So many people have a PS2 right now, and now we are basically forced to play the PS3. I have to say though...a little disappointed with the graphics they've shown off on this new console. With such big-talkers on Sony's side how can you not be? But anyway...they pulled a Microsoft! They have announced that they will release a downgraded system for like $500-600 and the complete system for $700-800, but the thing is...apparently the downgraded system has a slower processor and less memory ports, etc. At least that is what I've heard.
7/10

PC:
You have to decide for yourself. There are so many things coming to the PC. It's not dead for gaming yet! In fact...I would choose a PC over PS3! Well...I don't really have anything to say, but a list of great games: Crysis, Company of Heroes, WoW: Burning Crusade, Spore, Prey, Unreal 2007, and tons more.
10/10

Lucasarts*:
A smaller showing than I would have liked, but still great. A new Indiana Jones game, Lego Star Wars: 2, an Empire at War expansion, and some random thing called Traxion (which is apparently an add on for MP3's on a Memory Stick for PSP).
7/10

EA:
After an abysmal performance at last year's E3, I think EA has gotten back on the ball. With a showing of games like: Spore, Crysis, Battlefield 2142, C&C Tiberium Wars, Madden, and Superman Returns: The Game (plz be better than Superman 64!!!), you can't go wrong!

Well, I hope you enjoyed my E3 Update. Don't worry, I'll be back. If you have any questions or comments feel free to leave `em!

:D MTFBWY!
