I got the new MR Luke Skywalker Episode IV Force FX Light Saber

OKAY SO I COULDN'T REALLY AFFORD TO GET THIS BUT DID ANYWAY .... I HAD TO HAVE IT!!!! I HAVE WAITED FOR THIS SABER SINCE FIRST SEEING THE DAMNED MOVIE OKAY? LOLZ IT IS NOW MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE!!!!

I went to the Mall this evening to snoop around Spencer Gifts since they have a MR Force FX display and they had the Yoda ones and the Luke Skywalker Episode IV Master Replicas Force FX Light Sabers.

Yes the Episode IV one I have been waiting for. The infamous Graflex styled original saber. I can tell you I am not disappointed. This FX saber is beautiful and more detailed than my other FX sabers. It has the correct brushed aluminum look to it as well like the original. This saber is lighter than my other sabers as well as having a brighter blade. I did a side by side compare with my other sabers on and this one was the brightest out of the bunch.

I took some photos to show the detail and how perfect this saber is.

I am thrilled to death it is this nice of a product.

I got it for $99 at Spencer Gifts in person at their store and I am guessing these will sell well because they are so nice and very detailed. They sold out of the Obi-wan Episode III sabers pretty quickly. Man I wish I had this Episode IV Luke one when I was 9 years old when I first saw SW in 1977

This one has 3 blade clash sounds and from what I can tell two saber woosh sounds when you wave it around.

I own the Mace Windu FX saber, and I just purchased the DArth Maul double sided FX saber. I was VERY pleased with the Windu saber, though it sometimes looks more blue than purple. As excited as I am by also owning the Maul saber, I am somewhat disappointed by the fact that it only has one clash sound and 2 whoosh movement sounds. The Windu saber has 3 clash and 2 whoosh but the Maul doesnt. But its still hella cool and the red glow is VERY bright.

That Luke saber does look really good. I have to say though the next FX saber I get will have to be green! So either Yoda or Luke's green Episode VI version.

I had read about that in the forums at the MR site i think. They explained they have no purple leds to use for it so they use a blue and a filtered reddish pink color for the blue to shine through making a lavender color rather than purple but they it was the closest they could come.

As for a green bladed I only have the new MR 3 color FX Construction Set saber which has a green

The Spenser Gifts website had some Obi-wan and darth vader episode IV ones for 79.99 but yeah in person walking into a store 99.99 is a good price. I still say the Yoda ones should be less because they are so small lolz.
