Okay so DJ Maul had a live chat party with live streaming webcam last night and i must say it rawked all that can rawk.

We had trivia contests, cool chat people in there as well as a fantastic performance by JediPrincess77 (Bethany) who sang a couple of great Star warsy songs in the Jazz like fashion she is so good at.

We also had some belly dancing by Amiraleia she also has a blog here.

DJ Maul led the festivities nicely.

We saw on the webcam to say hello hansgirl (Missy), Viago Angel (Becca), T-Bone, Nobby, bethany, Michelle (M68) , Jedi master Mina, Sol Kassar, jedi melinda, and if i have forgotten anyone i apologize!

it was great! the cam got a little dark as seen in this photo but with an LCD screen tilted it lit everything up. it was a matter of contrast. I made this SCREENSHOT using the prntscrn key and then pasting it into microsoft paint.

As you can plainly see that is Nobby's head!!! I am in the smaller webcam image on the right. I should also add that there were twie as many people than what you see here in the list. If you look at the phto you can see the clock in my browser and it was almost 1am et and many left to get to bed cuzz of work or whatever the next day.

Also the webcam was a bright normal one until the sun set in the background then it was dark but still watchable. No complaints here. Deej kept apologizing for it but honestly it was not that bad. Closeups like of Nobby's head were dark but when you had just the background it was fine.

Anyway it was a grand old time for us here. I am new to the Star Wars blogs but have posted with most of the people above on another board for a spell now. We belong to a collector group called Geeks Helping Geeks (GHG).

I was pleased to see while there that your PC mic was audible and you could speak to others there at C4 live over the internet. very cool and was a lot of fun.

The chat party came to an end only after the power supply to his laptop crapped out and then the batteries died on us. We did have a 3+ hours of Star Wars hootenanny though before that happened.

I am not sure if he is going to do many of these and that may have been the last one because he said the charges for internet rates at the hotel were ridiculous. This alone makes DJ maul a unique breed as he did not even have to do this at all at his expense.
