Who do you want in the Star Wars TV Show?
I was thinking on what George Lucas said about the Star Wars live-action TV show. He said that it will feature minor characters from Star Wars. I'm going to post my top five and all you reading can post yours.

1. Quinlan Vos
He just has that dark kind of feel to him that makes you want to know more and would be perfect for the show as his fate is still unclear.

2. Nejaa Halcyon
After learning about him in I, Jedi and hearing of his exploits in Jedi Trial he would make a great character to include in the show.

3. A'Sharad Hett
An interesting way to see how Jedi Tusken Raiders plot revenge.

4. Boba Fett
Let's see some of the early days of this young bounty hunter's career.

5. Asajj Ventress
After a brutal battle with Obi-Wan she appeared to have died but survived and escaped in a stolen shuttle.

Well that's all I can think of feel free to comment on mine and add your own.

I am not so sure how minor Boba Fett is to be honest. He plays a significant role in the movies, and is generally loved by people. I agree, I would like to see him in the early days too, but I would still call him a major character, and would not expect to see him in the TV show.

I would like to see some stuff on Shaak Ti actually. She was a pretty significant jedi during the clone wars, and in my mind is underappreciated.

Well maybe Daniel Logan will come back and work for the show as young Boba.

As for Shaak Ti, she was origanally suppose to be killed in the temple but was later cut. In the deleted scenes of RotS DVD you see Grievous cutting her open. :(

Quinlan Vos died on Kashyyk through order 66. The comic adaption and even some of the pre vis animatic shows this.

Assajj Ventress died at the hands of Anakin Skywalker on Coruscant prior to Episode III (See Clone Wars Vol 6 graphic novel). She was actually planning on attacking Obi-Wan but came upon Anakin whilst he was viewing a holo message from Padme. Realising the secret between them she (Stupidly) threatened Padme's life. Anakin responded as expected. he went berko.

At the end of the fight he had used to force to wrap her in some sort of cords (electrical I think) where she was suspended over a very long drop and he promptly let her go.

Shaak Ti died in the temple as per the novelisation at the hands of Anakin Skywalker.

I think we should not get any wild ideas about the TV series. Our unrealistic expectations will cause us to be dissappointed with it when it premiers. The same happened with the prequel films. I have no doubt it is going to be good, but I can already tell many are not going to like it because it will not be how "they wanted it", again, just like the movies.

Vos died on Kashyyk ? Is that for sure?

Cause didnt Obi Wan say "Master Vos has moved his troops to *****" to Anakin after a Jedi meeting just shortly before order 66 happened?

Why would Vos be on Kashyyk anyway? Yoda was in charge on that planet at the time.

Anyway, for the show, they could easily have Boba on the show. They could have Vader if they wanted to cause you dont even need any particular actor for the parts. Just a voice similar enough to Temuera Morrison and get JEJ for voiceover work on Vader.
Vader's voice is to distinct and well known for it to not be JEJ.

Theres so many options they could choose. My guess is the main characters will be Jedi on the run from the Empire. Is it confirmed that Shaak Ti is dead? I'm not sure. Theres way too many Jedi for them to all be killed in Order 66.

But to be honest, i think the TV Show would be a perfect oppurtunity to include some well loved EU characters. To link the Original Trilogy Era to the Prequel Era at a more in depth level would be awesome. People like Thrawn, Booster Terrik, Boba Fett, Jabba, Talon Karrde, Mara Jade etc etc. This is a chance for the characters we only know in the Novels to be become real life characters.

Archangelysses, you're not quite right in your post above. Assajj Ventress survived Anakin's attempt to kill her at the end of Clone Wars 6, only to die in Clone Wars 7.

In "Dark Lord" and other places, it is reported that Vos died on Kashyyk. His transport was blown up but he survived and once he'd pulled himself out of the rubble set off to find and destroy the Sith Lord. See Clone Wars Volume 8. So there is a possibility that he could be in the TV series. I think he would be an excellent choice. This may be the reason that his death scene was cut from the film, or it might really have been a time issue.

I think you should all study a bit more!

Shaak Ti died on Grievous' ship at the beginning of RotS. Grievous slayed her in front of Anakin and Obi-Wan. That's a deleted scene from RotS DVD.

Asajj Ventress was presumed killed 3 times, 3 times by the hands of Anakin. The first on Yavin 4 (Clone Wars cartoons). The second time Anakin let her fall down a very long drop, on Coruscant (Republic 71 comic). The third time Anakin strikes her down with his lightsaber on Boz Pity (Obsession 5 comic). Faking her death, she finally managed to escape with a Republic medical shuttle. She's alive, somewhere.

Master Quinlan Vos didn't die when clones shot his tank. He realised the true meaning of order 66 and is hunting his former clones on Kashyyk (Republic 81-83 comics).

Back to the blog subject: I'd love to see Ventress and Quinlan Vos in action. But I would like also to see the fate of other characters, like Master Tholme, Master Zao, Master Hett, Bail Organa. I think it will also be very interesing seeing the growth of the legendary Boba Fett.

Come on, no Mara? I mean, I know she is no fighter pilot, not really, but she is still a wicked character. And she would make a cool tv show cuz she is like a spy, assasin type person.
