 | Jedi in Seclusion |
Despite the name, this blog will be mostly about Quinlan Vos, Master Tholme, and Master T'ra Saa and their seclusion on Kashyyyk. As told in Republic 81-83, Quinlan Vos did not die in an explosion but was injured and managed to survive Order 66. He also had a child with Khaleen Hentz named Korto Vos. Later on, Quinlan was in the jungle on Kashyyyk fighting clones when he was shot in the stomach by a Clone Commander. He managed to kill the clone but would have died unless Villie rescued him. So eight months later he returns to a bare mountain to find two Jedi, his girlfriend, a baby and a ton of Wookiees. Which leads to my question, what's next?
Do you think they'll live on Kashyyyk until the Empire leaves? Or will they lead a bold charge against this New Order?
Your Choice, MTFBWY

He really had a child with Khaleen. I thought Korto Vos was the name he used when he was undercover in The Battle Of Kamino.

He also appeared in that Tales issue entitled "Ghost", which was often considered to be inifinites, but now it's open to speculation now that he survived Order 66.
I like to think that Quin and Khaleen simply drifted away and remained secluded, away from the Force, away from the Empire and away from Palpatine's clutches. If you remember, Quin was a candidate for turning to the Darkside by Sidious - so would his son Korto.

I would guess that they would lead a strike against the Empire, possibly with the help of the Wookies, because he was on Kashyyyk at the time of Order Sixty-Six. And also, I highly doubt the group would remain on Kashyyk in seclusion, because of the events in Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader by James Luceno. A few months after ROTS, Kashyyyk gets surgically bombarded, and 200,000 Wookies were captured, and sent to the Maw Installation to work on the Death Star as slaves.

Quilan Vos wouldn't lead a bold charge, but he might lead a sneeky one. infiltration, assasination, sabotarge, and all that jazz is more his style
(very much like the alliance in fact)

Personally, from what I've seen of Quinlan Vos, he'll hide on Kashyyyk and bide his time like a responsible Jedi. By the way, Wookiees has two e's.

that would be awsome for his children/grandchildren or himself to join lukes academy in the new legacy books! he could also be hiding with some other jedi that survived and they all could tell luke about the old jedi order and help him manage the new order.

It isn't in any official Lucasfilm source - he's just speculating.
