After Shatterpoint
Welcome to this blog about the end of the Summertime War on Haruun Kal and the aftermath of the war and the possibility of a second invasion during Order 66.

In the final battle of the war, Mace Windu negotiated a peace treaty between the Balawai and the Korunnai while the Separatists were destroyed. When a Republic task force arrived, they became the slow process of disarming the Balawai Militia and the ULF bands. They also helped to establish a democratic government that would help provide social justice and economic stability. But what do you think happened after that.

There may be some equality but as they say, old habits die hard. So fresh jup kid might decide to get some friends and go on another "grasser hunt" or "Korno hunt". But if what the Republic did really made a difference, any of those actions would have been severely punished. But dead men tell no tales, and in the middle of the jungle at night it's pretty hard to tell who killed who.

Another thing, in the beginning of the book it mentioned that the only reason the Separatists invaded Haruun Kal was to be in control of the Gevarno Loop which was a circular hyperspace route that connected a many number of Mid Rim systems. So who's to say that there wouldn't be another invasion attempt made by the Separatists to regain control to this valuable system?

But my biggest question is what happened to the Korunnai during Order 66. Palpatine was fully aware of the Korun's force abilities. So once again who's to say a couple Impstars didn't come in and blast the place? But what if they escaped notice? What if they lived like the Jensaarai and hid on their little safe haven and learned more secrets from the pelekotan. Or did the Korunnai leave the planet and go off to fight the Empire? We may never know.

Interesting questions. I can certainly see them getting caught up in some post-Order 66 Force user clean-up. I enjoyed Shatterpoint. It was pretty intense and a great way to learn more about the mysterious Master Windu.

Depends on how big of a threat Palpatine thought they were to his new regime. Could have been killed but he might have decided to let them go as long as they stayed on planet.

maybe did what he did to Dathamar.seal it of and blow up all the ships.or put in a garrison and set prisoners loose to find their way home.(evil lauaghing ensues)or just take in the Korun as his own private force army to do as he saw fit.
