Star Wars and other Galactic Funk
Star Wars and other Galactic Funk which is also referred to as the infamous disco version of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was an album produced in 1977 by Domenico Monardo also known as Meco who would later also produce the equally famous Christmas in the Stars.

The album contained a disco-funk tune called Other Galactic Funk, which was composed by Harold Wheeler and Solomon Smith and two shortened remixes of the medley.

The music primarily falls within the funk and disco genres, teeming especially with disco music clichés. However, the Cantina Band sequence is more jazzy and there is a sequence of hamony twin guitars, which is typically associated with hard rock and classical heavy metal.

In 1999 it was re-issued in CD .
