My First Blog!!
Hello fellow SW bloggers!! Yes, I know, this is another 'first entry', but I can't help it - I just had to... I'm incredibly excited about my first week at Hyperspace. After all these years of fandom, my parents finally gave in and let me subscribe. Of course, the first thing I did was start my blog. I've wanted to have one since Hyperspace started them, and now I'm finally writing one. Wow.

I just want to say something to all those young people out there, like me, who desperately want a blog but aren't allowed yet... Your time will come. Trust me. And when it does, it will be better than you could ever imagine. I'm sure the initial euphoria will rub off eventually, but I don't particularily care at the moment!

Anywho... I want to take a few moments to tell a little about myself. I am a crazy SW fan, as you can tell, but I am also a Trek fan. WAIT! Don't run away yet! I'm definitly love SW more than ST. Also, I like Battlestar Galactica (I know I'm going to get some flack for that one). Basically, I like pretty much any sci-fi show/ movie, and I don't care what people think of me for that. I think most of you can handle the fact that I like more things than just SW. Well, at least I hope so.. Wow. I'm sorry if I offended anyone there - I'm a little blunt sometimes. One of the first things you should know about me.
Still on the topic of me (nooo, I'm not self-centred... ;)), I really like to write. When I start to write, I just keep going (see last paragraph), and don't stop until I look at what I write and realize I've written far too much. Currently, I'm writing a novel that's about 180 written pages (You might see a book of mine on the shelves in a couple years!).
I think that's all I've got to say about me....

Well, as I said already, I'm rambling on... as usual. I do do that a lot. But I think this is enough for one night.

MTFBWY!! ;)

Ok, I'm back from dinner.

I wasn't aware of it at the time. Don't ask.

You know saying "Dont ask" makes people want to ask. ;)

Yep, you are! How was your week?

Yay!!

My week was okay, I suppose. I took a placement test for math last week because of my age, and was aiming for pre-calculus, 'cause I've already taken up to trig. But, they messed my test up, because the computer went offline, and they stuck me in algebra II! X-(

That's really horrible, and I'm so bored, because I took before! I guess it's an easy A, though...

Other than that, it was a good first week. I was really happy to see my poli-sci professor, who taught the world history classes I took and is a SW fan!!! He's an old guy who thinks he's...uh....what's his name....from Star Trek...Picard! ;)

How 'bout you?! How're you doing?

:^O Nice... well if they screwed up can't you just like do it again or something?

My week was not bad... my school year is all funky this year, b/c my school's gettting a total reno and addition for the entire year, so we have to share a building with another school. So then the other school goes to school in the morning and we go to school from 12:30 to 5:00... but then we have music and whatnot before school. LONG DAYS! And the hallways are confusing too...

Hey, MM!!!

can't you just like do it again or something?

There's a form you can fill out to petition to take it again, but they won't let you do it for another 6 months, when it won't matter anyway.

12:30 to 5:00...

Hmmmm...is that a normal school time for Canada? We go to school from 8 to 3.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to tell you, we had an earthquake last night! 4.1, not too big, but not that small, either. It was kind of fun, in a weird way. We get em all the time in California. :D

Not normal at all. We do the 8 to like 2:30 thing, but since two school populations have to share the same building, one has to be there in the morning and the other pop has to go in the afternoon.

Do y'all have to like hit the refresh button a lot to see if there are any new comments
That's the way I do it... I don't think there's another way to do it.

(since we're going all HK-47 here) ;) Answer. Yeah, that's the way I do it. That's why I usually watch a movie or read or play a videogame on the side while we're doing this.

I thought so; I just didn't know if there was a trick to it. :p

but since two school populations have to share the same building, one has to be there in the morning and the other pop has to go in the afternoon.

Interesting. I do school from approximately 8 to 2. I'm homeschooled, so my schedule is really flexible. ;)

And I finally understand why you keep saying "y'all!" I knew you were from somewhere in the south. Not that you should stop doing it. I kind of like it. :D

We were talking about a name for our group last week. I suggested the 901st to Jake, since we were "created" on 9/01. But that's just an idea.

Jake wanted to name us the Disciples of Ragnos.

Ya I do that to... I read other blogs, listen to some music, or watch a video or something.

So have you two given any thought to using a message board for our meetings so we don't get accused of "spam"? I know kinda where you stand, MM, but what about you, QG?

Hmmmm...I don't know. We haven't been accused so far, and the other bloggers seem to be okay with it. And it's only every Saturday, when most people aren't even on here, anyway, and we can use the same blog and delete past comments.

But if you guys want to do it, we can.

As for the 901st idea, JJ loved it, too. What about you, MM?

That's true, but I get very paranoid, and I'd hate for one or all of us to be repremanded somehow. I think it would be safer to use a message board, but it's whatever you guys want to do.

So are we the 901st, then? :D

That's a really good point. We can just delete our past comments and start over. Unless you want to keep all of our past comments so when we're 70 years old we can look back at them and say..."Yeah, I remember that. Oh, it's time to go to the doctor....someone help me get up and walk to the car!"

I just think that it would be easier than deleting comments and whatnot... and then we can leave stuff there during the week if we feel compelled and not worry about others not seeing/finding it.

Maybe I'm being too stubborn (I do apologize), but I just think it would be simpler. :8}

Oh, don't worry about it! The moderators on here are very fair, and I've been repremanded only once, and it all turned out fine. MM remembers, 'cause he was there when I freaked out! B-)

We can just delete our past comments and start over.

And we can do it on Kyle's first, or we can alternate blogs, or one of us can create a "Chat Blog" where we talk every Saturday, delete the comments, and start over.

Yeah, but let's make it something that only we would know where to look. I'm guess I'm a little paranoid about other people seeing our chats. I mean, I really trust y'all guys (and gal), but I'd prefer our chats to be just between us. If that's not possible then that's okay, but I really wouldn't want other people being able to easily read our stuff.

Just my opinion.

Yeah, and to tell you the truth, my parent's are a little paranoid about chat rooms and facebook and such. You guys may forget this, but it's different for me, 'cause I'm a girl. I know, it's hard to believe, but hence the Qui-Gon references. ;)

So what's your guys' final decision?

I like the Chat Blog idea. I'll even do it right now, if you guys want.
