Hello everyone!

I've got lots and lots to say today, so I'll get started. (I'm sorry if this is incredibly random and rambly... but it's going to be.)

First off, let me say that Battlestar Galactica is deffinitely the best show on television!! I am incredibly, incredibly pumped for this Sunday's episode, where I am convinced Kara Thrace (Starbuck) will die. It has been confirmed that she has finished shooting this season with "Maelstrom" (this weeks episode), and that 'someone's name will be taken off the opening credits'. I'm sorry, but that's way too much convincing info to ignore! This is very depressing, because Kara ties for the best character in the series, along with her Cylon friend, Sharon "Athena" Valerii (or Number 8, in Cylon terms). I am going to be very upset if Starbuck is killed off, because so much can be done with her character, especially with her relationships between Lee Adama, Commander Adama, and her husband. Also, her apparant "pre-written destiny" (with the drawing she used to draw all the time, which recently showed up in the Temple of Five) could change the whole show... for the better, I might add.

If you're not watching Battlestar, shame on you! Tune in!! I demand of you! But honestly, it's really amazing, and it will undergo some truly huge changes in the coming weeks, with "Maelstrom" and the 2-part season finale.

Some cool news... I might be going to CIV!!!! Amazingly exciting, you say? I know! I finally convinced my mom to look at the websites, and to start considering prices and everything. Also, my grandmother has a friend who lives in L.A., who can give us lots of information. Although the odds of me going are still very slim, and I'm trying not to get my hopes up, I'm still pretty happy right now! Woohoo!

And since there aren't any CIV pics, I just chose this CIII pic (wow.. I just realized something. If I go to CIV, then it'll be the 2nd Celebration in a row that I've been to! Cool!)


Now that I've got some of that excitement out of my system, I can move on.

I'm not sure this is just me, or if it's totally normal, but I associate songs with everything from types of food to different books. For example, I now think of Battlestar Galactica whenever I hear "It Ends Tonight" by the All American Rejects. Ever since it played for about 10 seconds in an episode preview, it sends my mind reeling every time I hear it.

Also, I associate this song (I don't even know what it's called, or who sings it) with the novelisation of Ep. III. It's totally random, and it doesn't fit with the story or anything, but it still sticks!

Lastly, (wow... I actually just said 'lastly' in a blog... my english teacher would be proud!) I always think of blogging when I hear "Streetcorner Symphony" by Rob Thomas, and vice versa. I spent a long time on one blog (I don't remember which) right after this song came out, so I listened to it over and over, and now it is etched in my mind as 'the blog song'!!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this!
