Hello everyone!

Well, it's that time of year again... it's my birthday!

The day was actually yesterday, April 20, but I wasn't at home much, so I didn't get a chance to blog! But here I am now! (that counts for something, right?!)

All in all, I had a great birthday. Despite the fact that it is on 4/20, everything was great! I went on an awesome field trip to see a french concert (which I ended up translating to all my friends!), and I went to a Kiwanas class. (Kiwanas is the local music festival where schools and individuals compete). We ended up getting gold, so that made me very happy! Go Cowboys!!

As far as gifts went, I didn't get to much (tangable things, that is!). My big gift was, obviously, my trip to CIV. Besides that, however, I got some gift certificates - to the movies and to Chapters -, some American money to buy some stuff with at CIV, a t-shirt, a silver necklace, and a bag to keep all my piano books in. I also was given a bunch of cards, some cupcakes from one of my friends, a birthday announcement on the morning announcements, a balloon with all my friends and I's inside jokes written on it (thanks, guys!!), and some other food. Needless to say, I was very happy!

So now that my birthday has passed, I am now even more excited for CIV!! It seems so close now!! (And they REALLY need to get a picture of CIV for us to use! The CIII pic isn't cutting it any more!)
