 | On my way to CIV! |
Hello everyone!
Since I'm so bored waiting for plane to come in, I figured I'd writea blog entry! I'm on my dad's phone, so please excuse any spelling mistakes!
So the Celebration starts tomorrow. It seems crazy for me to be saying this. It seems like only yesterday when I wrote a blog saying that I would be going to the convention, and now here I am, almost there! I'm so excited to be going, amd despite the long, painful waits in the airport and in the car, it's going to be so amazingly awesome.
It seems that going to a SW convention has it's advantages! At the Canada-US border, we had to get our luggage and whatnot checked, as we were on a bus-taxi service van. When the guy asked where we were goign, we obviously told him, and he started talking to me about The Force Unleashed! He then proceeded to tell us that we could go back onto the bus, and that we didn't need to have our luggage checked! So we were the only ones on our bus who didn't have to have them checked! As I said, going to CIV has it's advantages... and our plane hasn't even taken off yet!
Going slightly off-topic, I have a funny (at least to my Dad and I) story. When we were going through airport security, and our luggage was being x-rayed, the man said, "Do you have any yogurt in your bag?" Having the amazing mom that I do, she packed ud massive amounts of food, and it just so happened that she gave us pudding. And apparantly we're not allowed to have pudding on the plane!! So the security people took our pudding cups! This makes me think about just Hiw paranoid people have become. And as I realise the dangers of not having thorough checks... PUDDING CUPS???
Again, despite the annoyimg parts of this trip. I know that I'm goign to have so much fun. Can't wait to see you all there!
May the Force be with You, and Happy 30th Anniversary!!
