Hello everyone!
Well, X-Mas is all over, and it's starting to sink in - I got tons of SW stuff that I'm really happy with...
First and foremost, my grandma gave me
The Star Wars Vault, and those of you who have it will understand when I say that it's absolutely
fantastic. I knew it was going to be awesome right when I opened it, but it was so much better than I ever thought it was. I nearly read half of it by the end of the day, and now I'm almost done. I just popped in the CD's that came with it, and it's pretty sweet. Definitely one of the best presents I've ever recieved... Thanks, grandma!!!
My mom gave me
Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, which I'm excited to read. I also got a gift card from my aunt and uncle (they didn't want to get me any books for fear of me already having them), so I went out on Boxing Day (right after my 6:00 Future Shop run

)) to use it up. After much deliberation, I decided on
Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force and the Thrawn Duology,
Spector of thePast and
Vision of the Future. The Guide is amazing... the amount of information in it is absolutely flooring, and it's lots of fun to read. I haven't started to read the novels yet, as I'm smack-dab in the middle of NJO, and I want to finish it before I start any new novels.
Finally, my sister and I unexpectedly got a Wii, and I'm planning on buying
Lego Star Wars, which I've also heard is absolutely aweseome.
All in all, I'm extremely happy with everything I recieved, but the SW gifts were awesome. To everyone who gave me these fantastic things, thank you so much!! Now I just have to get around to reading all my new books!
May The Force Be With You, and have a very happy New Year!

A scrawl on a slip of paper. A rough sketch done in a burst of inspiration--or desperation. A shooting schedule. A used ticket to a unique party. Collectors call such items "ephemera," but when they're connected to a noted person or event--or a series of movies made over a period of three decades that has captured the world's imagination--then they are anything but ephemeral. Such objects are part of the physical building blocks of a phenomenon, and the
Star Wars saga is nothing less.
